LONDON – Aug. 23, 2025 – Multi-award-winning film production company Raya Films has revamped their fundraising campaign for indie film ‘Cult Night,’ which is now “In Demand” on Indiegogo. Together with fresh new perks and opportunities for supporters to become involved, the campaign page also showcases some exclusive first-look clips in their updated pitch video.
Filming wrapped in January 2025 where cast and crew worked in sub-zero temperatures and unique locations, all adding to the atmosphere and foreboding nature of this nail-biting suspense-thriller.

“I believe this is our best work yet,” says director James Smith. “We have some incredible footage featuring top-notch actors, and now we need to raise funds to complement their performances.”
With a successful crowdfunding campaign already behind them, the team are continuing to raise funds to finish the film. This is for sound design, color grading, VFX, and distribution costs.
“This film is going to be big,” explains producer-screenwriter Caroline Spence. “We already have interest from a whole bunch of sales agents and we’ve some awesomely cool film festivals lined up ready to introduce ‘Cult Night’ to the first audiences in culturally stunning locations around the globe.”
‘Cult Night’ tells the story of American student Ember, who connects with her movie producer uncle in London. Here, she becomes embroiled in a world of deceit, exploitation, and murder. A classic case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Ember witnesses something she shouldn’t have, takes something she shouldn’t have, and finds herself pursued by a blood-thirsty killer who leaves a trail of bodies in his wake.
Directed by James Smith from a screenplay by producer Caroline Spence through their UK film company Raya Films LLP, ‘Cult Night’ is destined to hit the international festival circuit before being distributed worldwide in 2026.
