Editorial Standards
Max It Magazine aims to publish accurate, independent, useful coverage of film and the people who make it. These standards apply to staff work, commissioned work, and contributed material.
Accuracy and sourcing
Material claims should be supported by first-hand reporting, primary documents, on-record sources, or clearly attributed reliable sources. Writers must distinguish reporting, analysis, opinion, and promotional claims. Quotes must preserve their meaning and context.
Independence and disclosure
Editors and contributors must disclose financial, professional, or personal conflicts that could affect coverage. Gifts, access, sponsorships, and commercial relationships do not guarantee coverage or favorable treatment. Sponsored material must be clearly labeled.
Originality and responsible automation
Original portions of a submission must be independently created by the submitter or the creator they are authorized to represent. Third-party material must be properly licensed and attributed. Submitters must have the rights needed for Max It Magazine to publish and promote every supplied material, without infringing anyone else’s copyright, trademark, or rights of publicity. Plagiarism, fabricated sources, undisclosed duplicate publication, and invented quotations are prohibited. Automated tools may assist research or production, but a responsible editor must verify factual claims, rights, attribution, and the final published work.
Images, credits, and permissions
Every published visual must have a documented rights basis, an accurate credit when required, and meaningful alternative text unless it is purely decorative. Submitters are responsible for confirming that Max It Magazine may publish and promote the supplied material. Rights disputes are escalated for review and material may be removed while a claim is investigated.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors are corrected promptly and transparently. A correction or update note should explain the substantive change and date. Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting changes may be made without a note. Send correction requests through our contact form with the article URL and supporting information.
Events and time-sensitive information
Event details are checked before publication when practical. Organizers remain responsible for current dates, locations, pricing, and access information. Past events remain available for a limited archive period for context, then leave public listings automatically; significant historical coverage may remain as an article.
Review and accountability
Editors may request revisions, reject submissions, add context, or remove material that does not meet these standards. Editorial decisions and material publishing actions are recorded internally. Concerns may be sent through the contact page.
