Cclass Builds An Independent Film Catalog With Nine Tubi Projects
Through Mama Shirley Productions LLC, Chan Davis works as a showrunner, writer, actor, director and editor, developing projects from the ground up.
NEW YORK — Chan "Cclass" Davis, a first-time filmmaker from Brownsville, Brooklyn, has built an independent entertainment catalog that includes nine projects on Tubi, eight seasons on YouTube, and additional placements on FOX Soul and Roku.
Through Mama Shirley Productions LLC, Davis has developed his work from the ground up while serving in nearly every major creative role. As showrunner, writer, actor, director and editor, he guides projects from concept and performance through post-production and release.
His growing body of work has earned him the description "Indie 50 Cent," reflecting his multi-hyphenate approach to independently building film and episodic entertainment. The combination of nine Tubi projects, eight YouTube seasons and placements on FOX Soul and Roku gives Cclass a distinctive presence within New York City independent film.
Cclass was recently live on Power 105.1 with DJ Self and has worked with Beanie Sigel, Gillie Da Kid, Roc-A-Fella’s Ramses and Pain in da Ass, AZ, and a host of other notable entertainers and celebrities.
The catalog includes the 'Let’s Go' franchise, 'The Bullet to the Ballot' franchise and other independent releases created for audiences across streaming and digital platforms. His work emphasizes ownership, consistency and the ability to create, produce and distribute stories outside the traditional studio system.
For a filmmaker who began without a traditional Hollywood path, the scale of the catalog marks a major milestone for Mama Shirley Productions LLC. From Brownsville, Brooklyn, Cclass continues building a body of work as a showrunner, writer, actor, director and editor — a one-of-a-kind independent creative force taking real stories from the streets to the screen.
"REAL STORIES. REAL IMPACT. FROM THE STREETS TO THE SCREEN."
