TYPE: Narrative Short GENRE: Comedy STATUS: Post-Production LOGLINE Three suburban girlfriends confront major midlife crises in their marriages, motherhood (or lack thereof) and trysts with younger men.

SYNOPSIS Middle-aged moms Lisa and Sharon find their marriages in ruins. Instead of accepting toxicity, they say yes to “fun” as they are pursued by younger men. 50 and fabulous Clarissa faces her own perfectionism and chronic singlehood, amidst her friends and clients spicing up the suburbs.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT Our mature comedy/dramedy explores reasons, beyond the stereotypes, of why older women go for younger men. Our dialogue/banter has "Sex in the City/And Just Like That" vibes in the suburbs, sprinkled with some "Workin' Moms" meets "The Idea Of You." We want to uplift single moms and women of a certain age to find empowerment in a system and society that often makes it difficult to thrive. Mid-life can be a time to uplevel your life and find the fun, even amidst chaos and crises. It's time to transcend the cougar and milf tropes of decades past, and celebrate these other women, instead of passing judgement, when men have been dating younger for eons, without labels.
