Two independent Bristol production companies have launched a service designed to help actors create professionally produced showreel material.
Toad Abode Productions and Parker Rose Productions announced 'Showreel? Sorted.,' which produces bespoke cinematic scenes tailored to an actor’s casting goals and career direction.
Rather than relying on a fixed library of generic scripts, the companies write scenes around each performer. The aim is to give actors material that highlights their strengths and can be shared with agents, casting directors and producers.
Each package includes three scenes, a day of filming, lighting and sound recording, color grading, 4K delivery, individual scene exports, a combined showreel edit and shorter versions for social media.
The collaboration combines the teams behind Toad Abode Productions and Parker Rose Productions, which have worked across independent film and branded productions. The companies said they want to make professionally produced showreel scenes more accessible to actors building or updating their portfolios.
The service is offering introductory pricing during its launch period before moving to its standard package rate.
'Showreel? Sorted.' is intended for actors updating Spotlight profiles, approaching new agents, changing casting direction or seeking stronger material for professional submissions.
