LOS ANGELES — October 2025 — Powell & Price Productions today announced its upcoming feature film ‘Kill Code’, a high-concept cyberpunk action thriller from writer-director Justin Price. The film stars Franzi Schissler, Harvey Keitel, Tyrese Gibson, Frank Grillo, and Jacob Artist, and is slated for worldwide release in 2026.
Synopsis:
In a crime-plagued future, a power-hungry corporation issues deadly watches to criminals, forcing them to eliminate each other for freedom. Only one of their own has the power to dismantle the system from within.
Set in a fractured new America, ‘Kill Code’ blends neon cyberpunk aesthetics with grounded, dystopian grit, drawing inspiration from classics such as ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Children of Men’. Schissler stars as Elera, a cyber-enhanced operative who uncovers the sinister truth behind the Onyx program, which pits convicts against one another in a brutal, algorithm-driven survival game.
“Franzi Schissler is a superstar,” said David Snyder, Academy Award–nominated production designer of ‘Blade Runner’. “She carries the screen with the intensity of a young Sigourney Weaver.”
“This is one of the best scripts I’ve ever read,” added Harvey Keitel, whose career includes ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘The Irishman’, and ‘Taxi Driver’.
“Justin Price reminds me of a young Ridley Scott,” Snyder continued. “His visual storytelling is world-class.”
Price—known for ‘I Heart Robots’ and ‘Wawa: The Sandman’s Kingdom’—developed ‘Kill Code’ as part of a multi-film IP universe. The project marks his latest collaboration with producing partner Latavius Powell, whose Powell & Price Productions finances and packages elevated genre films for international audiences.
“Working with Harvey, Tyrese, Frank, and Jacob alongside a breakout talent like Franzi has been the creative experience of a lifetime,” said Price. “We wanted to build a film that looks forward but feels human — a story that examines what happens when technology begins to judge us better than we judge ourselves.”
‘Kill Code’ will be presented to buyers at AFM, with The Exchange/Voltage Pictures handling global sales. A limited theatrical release is planned for 2026.
