LONDON — Cine Circle has released 'Shattered', a horror anthology marking the debut of a new distribution model designed to help short filmmakers reach global audiences and generate long-term revenue.

'Shattered' brings together five award-winning short films exploring the human psyche's darkest corners — from grief and revenge to fear and obsession. The feature-length anthology has been licensed by Amazon, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home and other platforms.

Following years of industry conversations about the challenges of monetising short films, Cine Circle's model transforms acclaimed festival shorts into feature-length anthologies ready for mainstream distribution, while marketing them across its channels. “Our goal is to make independent filmmaking sustainable,” said ZB Siwek, founder of Cine Circle. “Hundreds of incredible shorts premiere at festivals every year and then disappear. With 'Shattered', we've proven that short films can live on — reaching global audiences and earning revenue alongside major releases.”

The anthology's shorts were collectively screened at more than 100 international festivals. Cine Circle is expanding the model with new genre anthologies across sci-fi, thriller and drama; titles currently in distribution include 'PostHuman' and 'Merge'. The company is seeking short films for future anthologies, offering selected filmmakers non-exclusive distribution contracts and revenue sharing.
