Bournemouth International Film Festival (BIFF) is proud to announce that acclaimed British actor Christopher Eccleston has joined as Festival Patron for its inaugural edition, taking place October 3–4, 2025 at the Hilton Bournemouth. With a career spanning over three decades across television, film and theatre, Christopher Eccleston is one of the UK’s most respected and recognisable acting talents. His work in Our Friends in the North, Shallow Grave, The Leftovers, The A Word and as the Ninth Doctor in Doctor Who has earned him widespread critical acclaim and a place in the hearts of audiences across generations.
