LOS ANGELES – Nov. 15, 2025 – Chera TV, a female-founded streaming platform built for mobile-first audiences, announced plans to launch in 2026 with a slate of original vertical series designed to merge cinematic quality with ethical production practices.

Created to address long-standing issues in short-form entertainment—low pay, unsafe sets, and rapid-fire content mills—the platform positions itself as an industry outlier by prioritizing creator rights, fair compensation, and inclusive workplace standards. Chera TV aims to become the premier home for premium vertical storytelling while establishing a new ethical benchmark for digital production.

“We're not just building another streaming app. We’re creating a new creative ecosystem where every voice matters, every story has a home, and every creator is protected and respected,” said Kylie Karson, co-founder and vice president of production and development. “Chera TV exists because the current system isn’t working for the people who actually make the content.”

The company’s first original series begins filming in December 2025, with additional titles rolling out ahead of the 2026 platform debut. The slate will feature diverse and underrepresented creators, aligning with Chera TV’s mission to elevate voices that are frequently overlooked in mainstream vertical media.

“Many productions in the vertical space focus on quantity and monetization while creators get overlooked or undervalued,” Karson said. “We’re building a platform where quality, creativity, and safety come first.”

Chera TV’s programming will follow a cinematic approach to vertical video, leaning into high-end production design, narrative depth, and emotionally resonant storytelling. The tagline — “The shows you’ve been scrolling for” — reflects the founders’ intent to elevate vertical entertainment beyond the brief, algorithm-driven clips common on social platforms.

“Chera TV is redefining how we see and celebrate creatives, both in front of and behind the camera,” said Calvin Singh, chief operating officer. “Our launch marks a movement amplifying real voices, raw stories, and bold creativity. We are committed to authenticity and empowerment, giving creators the freedom to lead, inspire, and shift the narrative.”

With an emphasis on community and collaboration, Chera TV aims to create a space where creators, audiences, and brand partners can form meaningful connections. The platform’s creator-first model ensures transparent crediting, fair pay structures, and a safe, supportive production culture—values the founders say are non-negotiable as they build a new standard for mobile entertainment.
