International fashion designer and filmmaker Dr Priyanka Mallick Banerjee has received recognition at the ICJ International Award 2026 for her experimental fashion film 'Cosmic Energy: Where Fashion Is Born'.
The recognition follows the film’s earlier official selections at the World AI Film Festival, Cannes and Africa AI Creativity Week. 'Cosmic Energy: Where Fashion Is Born' is a poetic, experimental fashion film exploring the intersection of couture, cinematic language and cosmic consciousness, transforming fashion into a visual language of movement, emotion and artistic expression.
“This achievement is not only a personal honour but also a celebration of artistic freedom, innovation, and the power of fashion as cinematic storytelling,” Mallick said.
