PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT - 'DARK RECKONING' A New Psychological Drama from Writer/Director SJ Creazzo
Writer, director, and editor SJ Creazzo announces the release of DARK RECKONING, a gripping new psychological thriller that examines the crushing weight of guilt, survival, redemption, and moral consequence.
Starring Kristanna Loken and Martin Kove, DARK RECKONING delivers a tense, emotionally charged cinematic experience driven by powerful performances, stark atmosphere, and a deeply personal story of reckoning. The film marks a bold new release from Creazzo, further establishing his distinctive voice as a filmmaker drawn to character-driven suspense, moral complexity, and psychologically intense storytelling.
Set against an unforgiving emotional landscape, DARK RECKONING explores what happens when buried trauma, impossible choices, and the past itself refuse to stay hidden. With its intimate scale and escalating tension, the film builds toward a powerful confrontation between memory, guilt, and consequence.
The thriller co-stars Gabrielle Kalomiris, Tom Malloy, Sophia VanDette, Courtney Warner, Jesse Kove, and Paola Paulin.
DARK RECKONING is produced by Jeremy Gardner, Tom Malloy, Brock Pierce, John Przybylinski, Charlie Shrem, Brandon Goldman, and Shawn Michael.
DARK RECKONING is a film about the things we carry, the choices we can’t outrun, and the moment when the past finally demands an answer,” says Creazzo. “I wanted to create a psychological drama that feels intimate, intense, and emotionally honest — a story where every silence has weight and every decision leaves a scar.”
StudioDome COO Tom Malloy added: “Studio Dome continues to champion character-driven thrillers that blend psychological depth with survival tension. Kristanna Loken and Martin Kove deliver performances that anchor this intense exploration of trauma, guilt, and resilience.”
With its grounded performances, haunting atmosphere, and powerful dramatic tension, DARK RECKONING offers audiences a suspenseful and emotionally resonant cinematic experience — one that builds not only toward revelation, but toward consequence.
