'Seetrathin Jananam' is an upcoming Tamil-language crime thriller written and directed by Manikandan Jagadeesan and produced under his banner, Genx Production.

The film follows a mysterious investigation that begins with an unusual crime and gradually leads to hidden truths buried deep in history. As investigators dig deeper, they uncover connections between the present and a forgotten past, turning a routine case into a dangerous journey that reveals the true origin of a growing wrath.

Jagadeesan, an independent filmmaker, conceived the project in the mid-2020s while pursuing engineering studies, founding Genx Production to make his debut feature. The film was developed on a limited budget with the support of emerging actors and collaborators who joined in its early stages.

The cast includes Alavudheen as Peter Fernando, Manoj as Sakthivel, Gowtham Kumaravel as Krishnan, Rithanya as Divya and Nandheeswari as Rani — many of them newcomers. Principal photography was completed in Tamil Nadu. The film is shot by cinematographer Dhamodharan, edited by Dharani and scored by Pranesh, with sound design carried out at Dreamers Production.

'Seetrathin Jananam' is scheduled for release in 2026.
