**LONDON, January 15, 2026 - **Multi-award-winning film production company Raya Films are currently putting the finishing touches to soul-searching documentary, _Indie Score. _ _Indie Score_ follows singer-songwriter James Smith over the course of 15 years - from recording an album on an aging boat in Spain with nothing but an acoustic guitar, to scoring an entire feature film. The documentary weaves together early diary footage, TV and radio appearances, fresh interviews, and striking visuals, underscored by a driving blues, jazz, and rock soundtrack. James Smith, a UK-based independent musician who later became an award-winning feature film director, has written and directed eight narrative features to date, but his passion for music has never waned. This documentary takes his story full circle and follows an artist still driven to create in the most unconventional circumstances.  To complete the film, Raya Films will soon launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise final production funds. A pre-launch page is now live, where supporters can sign up to be notified on launch day and gain access to exclusive, time-limited rewards. The campaign goal is set at £3,000, which will be used to pay for sound-design and grading.
