Independent filmmaker and actor Joe Mignone has announced that his upcoming crime drama 'Alley Boy' has officially entered post-production, marking a major step toward its premiere.
'Alley Boy' is a raw, character-driven film that digs into themes of legacy, loyalty and the lasting impact of the sins of the father. Set against a backdrop of mafia power and political control, the story follows a man caught between the life he was born into and the life he wants to build. As he navigates a world shaped by influence and consequence, he is pulled in two directions — by the weight of his father’s past and by the love of a woman who sees something more in him.
At the center of this world is the Florida governor, one of the last of the good old boys, whose presence adds a layer of authority and tension as different worlds collide. The film explores how far influence reaches, and what it really costs to break free from it.
Now in post-production, 'Alley Boy' is undergoing final editing, sound design and finishing touches that will bring its gritty, grounded tone to life. Mignone is building momentum through promotion and audience engagement, offering glimpses into the story’s atmosphere through social media and visual storytelling.
“This project has always been about telling something real,” Mignone said. “It’s not just about crime — it’s about identity, consequence, and the choices that define you. The past doesn’t let go easy, and that’s where the story lives.”
Further updates, exclusive content and premiere details will be announced in the coming months.
