Max It Magazine is growing, and today we’re introducing our redesigned website. We built it to make stories easier to share, independent films more discoverable, and the people behind them more visible. Max It Magazine remains grassroots and independent, shaped by the community that brought us here.

What’s New

  • A refreshed design: Updated category pages, improved search, and a clearer layout make it easier to find stories and films.
  • A more detailed submission form: Submit a press release with images, trailers, links, and the cast, crew, companies, and organizations involved.
  • A new way to explore films: Browse the film index to learn more about films featured in Max It Magazine articles. Search by title or filter by genre and production stage. Film pages bring together related articles, images, trailers, credits, and official links as they become available.
  • Improved article pages: Go beyond the story with details about the people and organizations behind the news, plus photo galleries, videos, and links to featured projects.

We welcome articles, interviews, and announcements about independent films and creative work, including premieres, releases, awards, open calls, and crowdfunding campaigns. Use the submission form for completed press releases, contact us with interview ideas, or submit an event for screenings, festivals, and industry gatherings.

Better Credit for the People Behind the Work

A film is never made by one person. Articles can now show more about the film, its cast and crew, the companies and organizations involved, and their official links.

Soon, you’ll be able to create a free account to see your articles and film pages in one dashboard. If you’ve submitted an article before, you’ll be able to sign up with the same email address and request updates to your work as it grows.

What We’re Building for 2027

Our plans for 2027 and beyond include:

  • The Max It Magazine 411 Directory: Discover cast, crew, companies, services, festivals, and industry resources.
  • Fundraising tools: Help independent creative projects find support and move forward.
  • Expanded festival and event discovery: Find screenings, festivals, events, opportunities, and ways to participate.
  • A future streaming destination: Discover and watch films and creative work from the Max It Magazine community.
  • Saved films: Keep a personal list of films you want to revisit.

Help Shape What Comes Next

If you find a bug, spot missing or incorrect information, or have an idea for the site, tell us through our contact page. We read every message, and your feedback helps shape what comes next.
